How we measure traffic on Hello Sofia, and what that means for your device.

Hello Sofia uses Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages are popular. Google Analytics loads only after you press Accept on the cookie banner. Until you choose, and if you press Decline, nothing from Google Analytics is loaded or sent, and no analytics cookie is set.

If you press Accept, Google Analytics sets two cookies on your device, _ga and _ga_74YTCDD73B, which last up to two years (for example, to recognise a returning visitor), and shares usage data with Google. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the banner does not ask again. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page; pressing Decline there stops Google Analytics and deletes its cookies. The rest of the site works the same either way.

If you have pressed Accept and then click a booking link to one of our partners, Google Analytics also records the click: the partner, the page, where on the page the link sat and, for a listed tour, its product code. Nothing is recorded for visitors who have not accepted.

This site runs no advertising scripts and doesn't sell visitor data. For how we handle commission on bookable links, see our Affiliate Disclosure.
